In this episode Valerie walks you through how “thin culture” has hijacked most of our brains and convinced us all that there is something wrong with us. This is a massive topic of burnout because it is a question of taking authority back–not allowing a nebulous entity outside of ourselves tell us that we are ugly, undesirable, and need to take up less space in the world. Personal authority is all about realizing that the most important thing we can become is truly ourselves and NO entity in culture or the larger world can tell us that we are not enough.
