Heather Sundahl earned her master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Utah Valley University. Her training is in systems theory, which holds that the various systems in our lives (family, community, church, culture, nation) shape us and how we view and interact with those around us. For the LDS population, religion impacts almost every facet of our lives, sometimes in ways that cause distress. Heather uses narrative therapy to address faith issues as narrative therapy posits that we have the power to shape and shift our stories to better heal and serve us. If you are eager to switch from being a character that is acted upon to becoming an empowered narrator, Heather is eager to help you reclaim your story and find growth and healing.
