Join Valerie and community member Andee as they talk about her lifelong commitment to personal work following the tragic death of her adoptive mother and a life that followed as a committed “perfect” child to make sure everyone was happy with her so that she might not lose anyone else.  Andee and Val work on Andee’s remembering some innate personal resiliencies (her childhood feisty-self, her confidence, her confidence) in order to draw upon these parts of herself that she often forgets about due to her adaptation to stay “out of trouble” in life.  Valerie worked with Andee on seeing resiliencies and invited Andee to into portrayal between powerful self-state with exhausted, overwhelmed self state…to remind herself that she is in fact more powerful than she sometimes thinks.  The session ends with Andee realizing that she has done a lot of growth work and that she is sought after by others who see her depth, wisdom, and compassion.
